forum setup

Had time to play more with this today, and when I went into the admin page and clicked on forums to start setting them up, this is the error message I received:

phpBB : Critical Error

Could not open subSilver template config file

DEBUG MODE

Line : 414
File : functions.php

Didn't have this problem with the 1.* version. This is a clean install on a test site with its own DB.

All other links in the admin area seem to work ok. Just the forums link.

Didn't have that problem myself. Install went incredibly smooth and everything works flawlessly (so far). Thanks a bunch Raven.

Make sure that you have modules/Forums/templates/subSilver/subSilver.cfg

YOU ARE THE MAN!!! For some reason when I ftp'd the files up, it didn't go. Maybe I just missed it. Thanks Raven. I better check all the other files while I'm at it.... Embarassed

I used to have that problem frequently when I used WS_FTP. I switched to Filezilla and haven't had that problem since. Smile

same here, I use dreamweaver for uploads

Just my $.02, I have never experienced that problem with WsFTP except in rare instances where the ftp connection was dropped and I didn't have auto start turned on.
