Users login but actual status offline, and not working

After a user registers:

E-mail works
Registration link works
User Log In works

But displays

Actual Status offline

this will not let them post as that user on the forum

also the member box dosent display as member but stays a guest.

I don't know what is wrong just did a fresh install

got it! Had to read the FAQ *Slaps Head*
