Inserting phpBB hacks into your PHP-Nuke distro

ok how to do it and please give as much halp as possible so i can intergrate all of the new bits i have into it

ok so it is i didnt check properly but i still would like to know how to add it into nuke so i can add most of the mods i have for phpbb thanx raven if you can send me the info also so i can print it for reference

Thanx raven its so i can lern how to do it and have a reason for the ammount of time i spend on my pc

yes you have pointed that out to me but i need to know how to insert phpbb into nuke as REFERANCE i am trying to add mods to it and sofar it only workes in my default phpbb site not my nuke site like i want it to so please send me some information on how and what files go where and what needs to be eddited as it will give me some light on how to create my mod
i have never done this before and would like some help
and i want to lern how to do it is it that hard to understand

The first thing to remember is that the phpBB stand alone forum is different than the one ported to work with phpNuke in respect of, the database table names will be different and may have a different structure as a lot of the 'user' related stuff is shared between nuke and the port.

The second thing to remember is the actual file structure will be different, for instance, the 'inlcudes' folder in nuke is directly under the nukeroot path whereas in phpBB it is an entirely different place entirely.

So what I am actually trying to say is that a mod designed to work for the standalone forum (phpBB) will probably not work with the ported version for nuke (BBtoNuke) depending on what the mod does without some (possibly extensive) modifications.

What you have asked for would take days if not weeks to compile.

Your best bet would be to check out the many sites that support bbtonuke specifically to see if there is a mod similar to ones you are using in your standalone version or trying installing some of the bbtonuke mods so you can get a 'feel' for how things sit.
