Help Edit Forum Theme No Access Module

Client Joined: Jan 21, 2006 Posts: 87 Location: Arizona

I have successfully edited 99% of fisubice theme to suite my site. But I'm stomped. I need to change the message text color on the error message you recieve when you try to access a forum that you dont have sufficient permission for (Im using group access only.)

This is the particular message: "Sorry, but only users granted special access can read topics in this forum."

I know that I can edit the css to change the color, but I only want to effect this particular module and need to find the actual code so that I can assign it a unique class or identifier.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated. I have spent several hours fishing through this forum ,several php files and several tpl files blindly looking for treasure.

how do you expect help if we cannot see that forum?

The message that you get when you cant access the forum is exactly the point of concern. There message is white on white background, if you highlight the box you can read it. The site is still underconstruction but all of the rest of the forum in unlocked. The private forum is empty and just there to learn how to set it up.

I blame that on yahoo hosting.......

I've done nothing to the site but let it sit......

well now it shows again but i dont see anything of what you mean.
i can see your forum but as i click on Technical Support i get the login...
so i dont see any text you describe.
and your site loads very slow at your provider..

its not a question of money nomad,not now anyway...
first create an account with normal letters,no capital letters etc....
like username = test
password = test1

then i can look again....make sure you an test account first.

I did as instructed:
1. set up acount: username = test
password = test1
2. I logged in and varified account working.
3. Tried to acces forum to verify problem reoccurance.
4. Checked on raven hosting

Well i see it (website is very slow) and a question..
You say you changed some trhings like colors but also that effected also some forum lines as well.
Only way to change that is to override the stylesheet,cause the text Sorry, but only users granted special access can read topics in this forum is normaly standard black.

Thank you, thats what I want to do, but I want to assign that particular text its on ID in the stylesheet so as not to cause other conflicts elswhere in the theme.

This is my first shot at a web, and Im trying to see what i can make of it. Right now it is scattered because I'm just playing with different features to determine what I can do and can't do.

I actually found php nuke by accident, browsing different forums trying to learn how to code html. Ravennuke was so highly spoke of I had to try it. I picked yahoo hosting because it came up first in my search for webhosting.
