isn't included in this distro? I love that one! Is the block okay to use with your distro? |

I was curious myself why the latest version isnt' available for download. Is 2.1.1 the same as the one you use (2.2.0) or is it really a different version? I haven't tried it myself to see, but would like to. |

What is the latest version that will work with RavenNuke 7.6? I see a version "Ravens Who Is Where Block v1.2" in the downloads, but it is dated 2004. Will this work okay with 7.6?
Thank you in advance. |

Raven has been a bit busy these days... I am sure when and if he is ready to release the newest versions of the blocks used here, be will...
azism, why not try it and see? Nothing ventured, nothing gained... |

Out of general curiousity, what part of AZ are you in? And I will give it a shot (after making sure eveything is properly backed up). |

According to the README, it states:
Quote: | edit index.php. On or about line 24
[FIND]
$home = 1;
[INSERT AFTER]
/////////////////
include_once('includes/RWH_wiw.inc.php');
/////////////////
edit modules.php. On or about line 22
[FIND]
$name = trim($name);
[INSERT AFTER]
/////////////////
include_once('includes/RWH_wiw.inc.php');
///////////////// |
Well, in Index.php there is no $home. However, at about that same line is:Quote: | define('HOME_FILE', true); |
I am assuming that the include statement gets placed after that statement. One other thing, when doing a database check and/or repair in cPanel's "MySQL Databases" section, I get the following:
Quote: | ti99ers_nuke.nuke_wiw_m
error : The handler for the table doesn't support repair
|
Is this something that is considered normal, or should I be concerned?
Other than that, it seems to work okay. One thing I'd like to see added to this is where the Guests are. I trust my registered users as I check them out before approving them. Guests on the other hand, well they are guests and who knows how trustworthy they are? After having been hacked a couple times, paranoia sets in. |

So, you mean see where each and every anonymous user's IP address is within your database??? If you only have a few, I can see this working, but can you imagine if this site did that?
Why not use IP Tracking in NukeSentinel? Then, you can review those logs at any time to keep an "eye" on things... |

You have a good point here. I guess I was thinking too much of my site which at its busiest only has 3 or 4 people online at any one time. I wasn't thinking of sites which, like this one, can get really busy. |

There is also a module called IP Tracking which you could use. I use it in preference to the Nuke Sentinel tracking feature when I want a 'quick view' as it will show search bots and other referers which sadly Sentinel doesn't show *at the moment*. |
