Okay, I looked and looked but no one seems to have had this problem, so I am asking for a bit of help. When I got to test the ipn this is the error I get...which of course causes it not to record the donations made (or at least update it correctly)
Debug mode activated
PHP-Nuke Treasury mod
PayPal Instant Payment Notification script
See below for status:
----------------------------------------------------------------
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2)
I am sure this is something easy that I am not seeing if you could please assist me that would be great.
Thanks

Yes Sir! That was the first thing I checked; just to make sure there wasn't a space somewhere it shouldn't be etc. All config info is correct and installed. I wouldn't have been able to get as far as I have without the config working. So that is why this has baffled me so.
Thanks

thats weird...
but i dont think this is your problem, sounds more like a mysql problem.
One thing is certain, and that there isnt any contact with your database.
Does it have its own database?
Are you using the right username and password for it? |

Yes, I set up a separate db for the treasury module as stated by the instructions. I currently have a nuke/phpbb db, a gallery2 db, and now a treasury db. I just wonder if I should drop/dumb my db for treasury and start over? I am asking the question, but I think I am just going to try it. It doesn't take that long. I would rather have to reset everything up than keep getting this error.
I wonder if there could be an error in any one of the tables associated with the ipn logging or such? Just a guess as I have no clue what I am talking about....rofl.
thanks a bunch, and if droping my db and redoing works I will let you know. Oh and as far as the username...etc...yes it is correct. I triple and quadruple checked it...

I just found something but I don't know how significant it is. When I click on 'config' in phpmyadmin under my db; well I have this:
Under 'Indexes' it tells me "No index definied" with a big exclamation (red) mark beside it; like it is something that needs to be there.
If this is something that doesn't matter...sorry...I just saw this and was wondering.
