Unregistered users getting to registered only areas

I am using phpnuke 7.6 patched 3.1 with latest NukeSentinel and I have my download module set to registered users only. If you type in the name of the site plus /downloads you get into the downloads area by the parent directory without even being registered on the site. Which gives you access to download anything there. What do I have wrong? Confused

lol...you can start by putting an empty index.html file in that folder..
that closes public viewing.

FireATST, there is also an "anti-leaching" discussion from a few months ago -- started by hitwalker actually -- which talks about anyone able to get the full URL to your downloads and using those directly. There is a way to stop that. I need to find the thread....
