banned myself and cant find ANYTHING TO HELP

i have removed my ip from the nsnst_blocked_ips or whatever but am still banned. i am trying to find the .htaccess file and cannot find it anywhere.

i tried reinstalling everything but i cant even go to the INSTALLATION directory. what do i need to do now? i am so frustrated.

about ready to just give up and forget about it.

Your htaccess file should be located in your root directory. Did you have Sentinel set to write to the htaccess file?

yodaky, are you looking for the .htaccess file using a FTP client? If so, try using your ISP's control panel. Some FTP clients will hide files which start with a period. You may find a setting in your FTP client or play with some file name patterns to see it. I am pretty sure it must be there and you are just not seeing it....
