sent. 242 pl5 and nuke 7.5 patched 3.1

im useing nuke 7.5 patched 3.1/3.2

id like to set up sentinel but when i try and do the file edits for it "mainfile.php / header.php" then my site just comes up as a blank white page. never had a problem like that be for not shure what exactly is the deal with it or if mabe i have the wrong version of sent.
