I've been experimenting with a subdomain and had problems with chmod.
When installing the latest RN distro FULL, sentinel could not right to the .staccess. I thought this was a path error but couldn't work it out, got round it by getting the info from the database.
I then installed Sominaire 3 and had the same problem trying to right to the language files.
Is this a subdomain thing or am I missing something? |

With the subdomain Sentinels htaccess info is automaticly pulled from the main htaccess file for the domain. There is not really any way around this. I have spoken to raven about this before.
What I have done is the past is to add an entry into the main domains htaccess, staccess file for the http auth info that I want used on the subdomain. That way the sub can still have its own http auth login seperate from what the main site uses.
It could be the same sort of issue that you are experiencing here. I am not very familiar with that block. |

Sentinel didn't appear to be looking at the main htaccess and after manualy adding the coded password to the staccess it works fine. |

after adding a new user login works |

Actually, I had this happen to me to. The nuke user's table does not stop this as the 'user_id' is the PK. Thanks for the reminder. This can be fixed. |
