Problem with usernames having an underscore

I recently upgraded an existing site to the RavenNuke76 v2.02.02 Distro but since then users have not been able to register if their username has an underscore.

Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

As the existing 1500 users all have usernames in the firstname_lastname format it makes it critical for us to continue doing so. Question

I am looking at the code in modules/Your_Account/index.php, the function userCheck, and I can see that the underscore should be allowed. You may want to try and re-upload this script and test it out again.

How far in the registration process are they getting? Any error messages?

just to pipe in there is no problem with a standard RN 2.02.02 distro with using underscore in the name.

As you can see from my username here it works in older versions and I have a stright RN install on my site and my standared non admin name is Tao_Man there also and have no problem
