Hi All!

I am using rn76v2.02 and having problems changing authors' passwords. When I look in the database, all are set to the same value which I set initially and I can login using that password. However, I cannot change them. I go into the control panel and select "Edit Admins", select one of them to modify and then change the password. However, the password is not changed as I can see it is still the same in the nuke_authors table. The fields are:

aid
name
url
email
pwd
counter
radminsuper
admlanguage

I see nothing in the error log. However, when I input passwords that do not match, I get an error message indicate that fact.

Also, as far as I can tell, there is no way for a author to change their own password. Is this correct?

Any info is appreciated.

Best Regards,

jimmo

Although not 100% certain, it was my understanding that only the "God" admin can change the passwords. In fact, I am surprised that NukeSentinel isn't banning your admins for trying to access the Edit Admins function.

Oops. Sorry for not being clearer. I am actually logged in as the God admin. So, it should work. Apparently it isn't. Is there any limitation to the number of admin you can have? I the admins column of the nuke_modules table is varchar(255). I currently have 20 admins (one for each of the sections in our sports club, the club board and a few others). Thus I cannot make everyone an admin for every module, which is not a happy thing. Maybe there is something similar that is preventing me from changing the password.
