I recently just upgraded from pl3 to pl9. I uploaded all the files into their correct spots and ran through the upgrade incrementally. When I got up to pl9 it said everything was successful but upon viewing the site it had inserted weird text into some areas. Example on the posted by areas it now says "_POSTEDBY JB _ON _DATESTRING (3 _READS)". Also in the waiting content window it now says:

The users block now looks like this:

and on the "your account" page:

I'm running Ravens 7.6 Distro

If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

It looks like some language definition files are missing, but that should have nothing to do with upgrading NukeSentinel, which doesn't include or use those files.

The result is the same when I'm not logged in as an admin. I took a look at the html folder for the pl9 install and noticed there is a new lang-english.php file in there. When I uploaded the html folder it did overwrite the original one in this folder. I'm gonna try putting the original lang-english.php that came with the distro back in that folder and see if that fixes it.

I think I have it fixed, I took the entire language folder from the distro and had it overwrite over the corresponding language folder in the root directory. It seems to be back to normal now, hopefully this won't compromise the security that Sentinel provides. Since you said that Sentinel doesn't use these files or require them, I assume everything should be ok now.
I appreciate the help from everyone.
Thanks.

Ok, just wanted to make sure as it almost sounded like you overwrote the lang-english.php file in directory nuke-root/language when you uploaded, and so I was wanting to make sure you had the NukeSentinel language file in the right place.

Sounds good!
