Question about siggies not showing

I installed a fresh copy of rwsRavenNuke76_v2.02.02_FULL

I have setup up everything setp by step.

Now my forums says it needs to be updated?

anyone know where and how to do this?

And also, the siggy's arent showing up in the forums but the avatars are.

Also, i can't seem to change the styles on the board, i have installed them but the style doesn't seem to want to take.

There is a built-in version check in the forums - it checks for the latest phpBB version. These are usually important, and the appropriate updates will be included in the next update for RN.

Allowing signatures is a forum configuration option, I believe.

By styles, do you mean themes?

I mean the styles you can add, like subsliver,subdark. I seemed to add them and they didn't change. It maybe the theme i am using?

If the theme has a forum folder then yes

if not you need to set it in the forum admin to use it.

not in your forums, in your theme, if your theme has a folder called forums in it then it will undoubtedly overwrite your template but if it does not, it is not designed to overwrite your template.

If the theme has it's own custom forums than i can't change it, but if it don't i can?

If the theme has its own forum file, remove it.

Then your forum style will be able to change.

If it does not, we are dealing with another problem that we need to address but lets knock out the simple things first , shall we?

Deleted the forums from the themes file. Worked like a charm!

Still have a problem with the siggys not showing up. i went to the forums admin and they still didn't show up. i use imageshack.us to host them, i don't see a link or anything where the siggy should be.

Update, it seems that the siggies are showing up now, i went through as you said and checked to make sure that the attach the siggy to all reply's. It seems a few days later, that the [img] [/img] shows up but not the siggy. About 3 dayz later the whoel siggy does start showing up. I guess it takes sometime for the siggies to show up.

NP but that seems like a server issue (lagg probably).
I hope this is the end of your trouble.
