Nuke treasury

Hi im totaly lost on how to install Nuke treasury, i have upload the folder to my root/modules folder, it shows in the admin cpanel but when i try acces it it gives me the error, this module wasent found, i also dont see how the block is supposed to work as there is no block in the package i downloaded, any help whould be great thanks

ok this looks alot more like it, i think i have it all set up by i have now came into a major porblem, it is giving me error = Table 'noobs_donations.transactions' doesn't exist , its messed up the page and nothing shows on the center of the site, which means i cant access the admin cpanel to delte the block, what whould you suggest i do now?

ok i manged to get the block delted with no probs but it still isnt connecting, il need to fiddle with things, im a noob on nuke Embarassed

, what do i do with the nuke treasury.sql lol?

you have to put the contents of the sql file into your database,the same as nuke or another one...

hmm i still have no idea what to do, all these datbases and things are confusing for me Sad

, the only place i know were databases are is on my cpanel outside of nuke, but im guessing it is not there i have to add this, what is the name of the file i add this too?

If you would like to install an other simple donation block I ´ll give you the link. Just send me a PM and for your MySql question I´m sure hitwalkers description is better than mine also I ´ve never used Nuke treasury so I don´t know the install steps exactly Smile

ok ive just went and totaly messed up my site Sad

, it isnt responding at all now, is there any way of reverising what i did? if not im just going to forget about the site

Because we don´t know what you did in your database ? we can´t help.
Always backup to restore your site if something goes wrong! It´s hard to say but it´s a good lesson.

well firstly it wasent me who made the changes it was a friend becuase i didnt have a clue what to do, what i do know is i game him the nuketreasury.sql file to put it on the database, i know he used phpmyadmin but not sure what for, when he done this i lost all my forum posts, users and my site was reset back to defualt, when i found this out i asked him if he could undo the changes he made and he said he doesnt think its possable, so i made a back-up file from the admin control pannel last week sometime, i gave hime this not sure what he did but now my site isnt responding atall, please please help Sad

ps i do have a back-up file how do i use it?

If you have a .sql backup of your db create a new db (e.g."localhost_nukebackup"), open phpMyadmin goto import click browse and select the backup of your db and upload the sql backup file. (make sure you have selected the correct db before importing/uploading. Wink

) Edit your config.php file to point to the new (e.g. "localhost_nukebackup") db and it should restore your content. If it does then drop the tables in the original db, import the same file to it and edit your config.php file back or just continue to use the new db.

FYI: I am relatively new to nuke and sql myself but this has worked for me in the past.

Maybe someone else here can verify my idea before you do so?
