Hello all i have search this forum for the answer and read all the FAQ but couldn't seem the find out anything that would help.
The problem is links are not working from the same domain, i will give u an example to make some sense.
Example : If someone posts a link to another thread in my forum when members click it they will get : You are trying to access a restricted area : all other links are working fine it only seems to be links with my sites domain ? please help me.

Could you possibly set up a temp user for us to login with, as some e-mails end up in spam boxes, thanx. |

Out of curiosity, which version of Sentinel are you using? The one that came with your RavenNuke distribution?
Are the links going to places which do not have any restricted user access? |

version of Sentinel is NukeSentinel(tm) 2.4.2pl3
temp user
name: Raven_test
pw: Raven_test
Forums can only be visited by registered members if that helps, but still cannot access other threads from links on forums ? |

Ummmm yeah it does ? would or could it be a problem with hidden forums that only squad members can see? but even if i put a link to a public forum thread in there members get : You are trying to access a restricted area : ? strange.
any ideas? |

I can only think it is a permission problem couple with the nuke version you are using.
If you look at the forum link, it doesn't actually give a forum ID like forum_topic?=t1 it seems to be using the session id as part of the topic id. If that is actually the case, then when the session expires, the link won't work. |

I would definitely upgrade your Sentinel version though as the first thing to do. |
