I use phpnuke 7.8 and CNBYA 4.4.2
I am a superuser and when I promote 3 of my user to see news, your accound and forum it workt for 2 of them.

When they login to http://website.com/admin.php the page show the 3 modules thay have access to but when the thitd user login it dosent happend anything. The loginpage just reload and no errormessage or nothing.

I promote the users at the same time and did exactly the same thing on every user.

How could I make this working?

Are there any characters in the users username other than letters and numbers?
Did you try to give the user admin permissions again and get the same problem?

My brother found a solution to this.
Login as an admin and remove user then make him admin again.

admin is in a own table so when a user change password it dosent check if that user is an admin.
So I think a rewrite of either admin.php or the function that update password for user and make it write the same to admin.

So long the user with admin access dont change password everything works.

Strange. I've never noticed that. I'll have to try it on a test site.

Can the none God admin actually request a password resend?
I must admit I have never looked into that - I always had assumed that secondary admins were created by the God admin and obviously the secondary admin had seperate accounts held in nuke_authors.

Come to think of it, the God admin cannot request a password resend either.

I am the god admin and I dont have the problem.
It was 2 of the users I promote to have access to some adminstuff like news and forum.
The problem appear when a user that was promoted change password, password for adminpage dosent change.

They cannot change their own author passwords -- pretty sure. I believe only the God admin can change those. I wonder if they used the normal user password change thinking it was their author one?

At least I am pretty sure regular Nuke is this way and I would doubt that CNBYA does anything with the author access (but I could be wrong as I am not up on all its features).

Not in core PHP-nuke is doesn't. These are completely different user id's and authentications. Regular users are authenticated against the nuke_users table and admins are authenticated against nuke_authors. Complete separation.
