I have the nucalendar module installed and working fine. However I need to know how to change the background color of the calendar. I have a red background and the calendar comes up sort of white but unlegible. You can see it at http://maysvillesports.com/modules.php?name=NuCalendar. I either need to change the calendar color or the text color. I think I would rather change the calendar color actually.

Bang Head
ODD, not sure why it goes to that page, if you notice the module is shows on the left side so it has to be active or you would not see the link. I double checked in the admin section and it is active. Please try going to the home page then using the "calendar of events" link. Should get right to it.

Thanks, again.

oh but thats simple...see if theres any config option in the file/index...
or look for something like ...$bgcolor1 and change it to your colors..

ok, i find this: global $bgcolor3, $bgcolor4, $dbi, $user_prefix; in the "print event.php" file. Do I just change the $bgcolor3 to say #4F0909? The file references the $bgcolor3 several times.

Actually one line reads like this:

$content .= "<td width=\"150\" valign=\"top\" bgcolor=\"" . $bgcolor4 ."\">"._VIEW_DAY_EVENT."</td>";

yes the globals are pulled from your theme....
so you can make it to any color as you want.. Smile

I must be completely stupid or something, or simply making this harder than it is. Everytime I change a reference to the color I simply get a blank white page. If I have this:
$content .= "<td width=\"150\" valign=\"top\" bgcolor=\"" . $bgcolor4 ."\">"._VIEW_DAY_EVENT."</td>";

and change to this:

$content .= "<td width=\"150\" valign=\"top\" bgcolor=\"" . #4F0909 ."\">"._VIEW_DAY_EVENT."</td>";

is this not correct? Well, obviously not because it doesn't work. I find no ref. to the two $bgcolor strings in my theme files, css or otherwise. Crying or Very sad

well...
another way is to take out all references to any color...
BACKUP FIRST..Smile
cause then it automatically uses the theme default colors..
