How Do I Promote A User To Be A Forum Administrator

I am using 7.6 php nuke with CNBYA on one of my websites and i want to make one of the website regular users an administrator who can moderate and delete forum postings.

To acheive this I have done the following:

1 I visited my website admin panel

2. I then clicked on the CNBYA 'Edit Users' link

3. I searched for the user I wanted to make an administrator and once I found them I clicked the CNBYA 'Promote' link in a drop down menu box.

4. I then selected the options I wanted the person to administor INCLUDING the 'FORUMS' option and clicked the 'Promote User' option

However the users is still not able to delete postings in the forums section.

Please can someone tell me what I am doing wrong.

that doesnt work that way..
you have to give him the proper status in forum administration...
making the person a moderator.. Wink

Or in the Permissions, set them to Administrator. If that doesn't work, go into the users table and manually set their user_level = 2
