Running the "standard" release of Nuke 7.6 I had to move my site to a new server. Every other part of my site seems to be working fine except that i cant add new modules now for some reason. When I attempt to create a new module the Modules administration section shows an error...

"Column count doesn't match value count at row 1"

This happens even if I create a blank "dummy" module - say a folder named "test" with nothing but index.php and index.html

Any ideas where to look to remedy this?

Sounds like the modules.php got corrupt in the transfer, Id sudjest you reupload your modules.php and make sure you upload it using binary settings.

If it was a mysql error, other problems would occur, might be a good idea to test other functions like adding a user, posting in a forum etc. anything in the admin panel will alter the sql database.

Make sure error settings in config.php are set to true to make sure you see the error.

Use phpMyAdmin and post the structure of your modules table

The modules.php seems to be fine, but just incase, I re-uploaded another copy. No change.

I've also set $display_errors = true; but it doesn't display any errors.

Default phpNuke 7.6 does not use the 'groups' field. That indicates maybe you are using NSN Groups and have not followed the directions to edit the modules admin script

That was it! I dropped the "groups" field and all is well. Thanks! Smile
