Hello to everyone-

I'm having a weird problem, and hope that someone can shed some knowledge for me....

When I am logged in as a member and click on another member's name (Elizabeth) in the "Online Now" area of the user info block, I'm being taken to a user info page;

modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=userinfo&username=Elizabeth

The problem here is that the resulting page is showing my username- "Personal Information: Meoff", with the rest of the information from Elizabeth.

If I am logged in as admin, I get a strange combination- My name, her info, both of our subscription statuses, and more.

Is anyone familiar with this problem, and have a solution that will show up the correct name and information? I'd be grateful for some insight.

I've searched in the forum for info, but couldn't find anything. If it is out there somewhere and someone ca direct me to the post, I'd be equally grateful.

Meoff

Hello Hitwalker- thanks for the reply.

My RavenNuke is a downgrade from Nuke 7.8, and I am using / referring to the "block-User_Info.php" that I am believe was part of the Nuke7.8 installation.

At the botom of the block ther is a listing of people "Online Now", which is generating the weird results- this is the link;

http://www.bkkok.com/modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=userinfo&username=Elizabeth

I'm not using mod_rewrite (would like to- but that is project for another time). The URL was converted by Raven's mod_rewrite, because I didn't put he URL, only everything after the slash / modules, so this site would have thought it was an internal link here.

Thanks-
Meoff

Yes- this is correct.

The strange behaviour only happens when logged in as member / registered user, or admin.

I was noticing that Raven's site info block opens the members PHPBB profile page. Could anyone suggest how to modify my user info block to do this?

well you just edit the block by changing the link..

With a bit of trial and error, I have found the links in the user info box and modified them. Problem sorted.

Tks.

Could you please explain how you fixed this.

I noticed the same thing, but thought it was an issue with cookies or the browser autocompleting my sign-in info.

I'm no wizard... but I'll try to explain it the best that I can....

From the memberlist page, I copied the URL that directs to the Forum profile of a member. I looks like this;

http://www.bkkok.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=profile&mode=viewprofile&u=Meoff

In the block-User_Info.php file, you will find URLs like this in lines 54 and 56;

http://www.bkkok.com/modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=userinfo&username=$uname\

And this in line 155;

http://www.bkkok.com/modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=userinfo&username=$lastuser\

I changed;

Your_Account&op=userinfo&username=

to

Forums&file=profile&mode=viewprofile&u=

In each of the three instances. Make sure that you leave the respective $variables on the end.

Note that the site URL (mine is http://www.bkkok.com) won't be shown in your file. The string will start with /modules each time. I've included my URL so that Raven's mod_rewrite won't change them.

The links now go to the forum profile page instead of the Your Account page. The only loss is that the members can not see their subscription status any more, but I don't use subscriptions so it was no problem as far as I am concerned.

Hope this helps and makes sense enough for you to follow!
