trouble ticket sytem

Just wondering if anyone has a good word for a trouble ticket system. I have been using osticket but have been getting slammed with SPAM so I was looking into changing programs to help stop that.

Lots of choices here, but it depends on how you wish to use it. Help Center Live has chat as well as offline support. Eventum and Mantis are good for tracking issues with software. Not sure how any of them would address spam.

I couldn't make a recommendation as the one I use myself is no longer supported even though it was a paid for script.
However, the downfall of most of these systems is that to be affective, you need to allow public access - not everyone wants to register for an account just to ask for help and as you have found, having public access means it is open to spamming.

I have seen one thing that could stop the Bots from Spamming. Just a simple access code.. you know type this phrase in to submit ticket.. the system I am using now just allows anything but I do like it open to the public.. Or atleast a way to intigrate it with my sites users
