Question about topics

When I read an article then click the topic icon at the bottom of the page, am I not supposed to be taken t the topic area where all the stories are listed? Instead it just refreshes the story I am currently reading.

yes something is weird..
if i goto news.html then i see only one news item..
news is set as home ?

Yes it is, and it is active.

I re-uploaded the news module and nothing changed. I have tried to break the topics down in the menu but when I go to one of them it only shows one story. This is not right is it?

well, unfortunately I have. I have been adding the google adsense changes to the site. I am not sure what that would have changed though.

well you messed up somewhere..
hard to tell where from the outside...
im not saying its adsense but some of your news items look realy messed up..

There were changes to only a handfull of pages, I am checking them now.

well i cant imagine you realy are impressed with a news story that looks like..

can you disable that bottom news center block..

are referring to the font or what? I do not see an issue with the layout of the article. the bottom block you are referring to, is it the one at the very bottom of the page? I can by editing the sql manually.

on that article...you dont see all text aligned to the left ?

where it says below..
Submit news articles and comment on any of these article.

yes the text alignment is due to the fact that when the story was copied out of a text editor, for some reason it added a <br> tag after every line and I have not gone back through and removed them.

The block you are referencing to can be disabled, however I found that by changing the number of news stories posted in "home", it changes the number of stories when viewing a certain topic.

I wanted to remove the posts in home so I can use the center block you are referencing to but the only way I knew to keep from having duplicate listings was to remove the news posts in home. I did this by changing the number in the db. I guess I will have to find a new work around for this.

As you can see, now there are 10 news posts in home and when you hit a topic there are also 10 stories now.

Not quite how I am wanting to do it.

well you should allways see all topic of categories when going into the news mod,that didnt happen..
but if you want to do more with your news why not install nsn news ?
Do install the previous one...,not the new one.

I was hoping to use the module that is used on this site as well as montegos and others, but for some reason I never have recieved an e-mail confirmation from the developers site so I can download it.

The nsn module you are referencing, are you saying not to use the most recent version but an older one?

yes,nsn news is is great solution to present your news...,like you see on nukescripts.net
the newest version was a bit buggy as i recall,im not sure if that was fixed.
