Hello,

i set up a version of NS 2.3 ok and wanted to upgrade. It's a fresh install of nuke 7.4, chatserv patch 3.1 and NukeSentinel 2.5.02. I didn't get any errors when installing but it won't block a union attack that i blocked before at 2.3. I set the union blocker settings to 9 and it is a union attack. It just says "This module isn't active". I entered my ip to ban and it banned it so it's working to some extent. Any suggestions?

If memory serves Nuke 7.4 may have had the admin files in a different structure than subsequent versions. I'm not sure of that but there was a change in structure at around that point. At any rate, why a fresh install of 7.4? Do you have a lot of data in there? Have you used the other admin screens in this system successfully. Well I was going to ask that but they should work since they came with 7.4. I am just not at all sure that Sentinel works with 7.4 and that is something you could check out or someone else here could address.

If it is an option for you I'd recommend that you upgrade to RN 2.02 or wait a short while for RN 2.10. Both have Sentinel integrated and there are a fair number of posts here about the upgrade process.

well ive seen this before, and your probably testing it ....right?
if you test it and its not recognised as a union attack it will show the message "This module isn't active"
so i guess you have to do better then that... Laughing
but trust me,it works...

Thanks guys

Because I've installed NS with a nuke that had lots of modules and mods on it before and had problems. I wanted to make sure that it could work with just a normal installation.

Well according to the instructions, it does. If someone could shed some light on this, that would be great.

To double check, I used the example that raven put up a while back: http://yourdomain.com/modules.php?name=Your_Account&/**/union/**/
and it still didn't work but it did work when I used v 2.3

I don't doubt that. What I meant is I haven't got to block yet.
