text size in news

how do i make the text large when i post news im trying to post on my page happy hallowen in large orange but it doesnt seem to allow it ive tried html stuff but nada its just for one news post can anyone help? thanks

You are probably using the correct tags but the allowed_html array is not permitting it - depending on the version of nuke you are using.
If its 7.6 or below, check config.php and mainfile.php for 'allowed_html' and see if the tags you are trying use are in there.

If its 7.7 or above - I can't help as they are so poorly coded I won't touch them, sorry.

im running ravennuke 7.6 so what do i look for exactly? hehe

This happens to me sometimes, but only on certain themes. Fisubice is one of the themes text size won't change. If I switch to another theme the text size is the way I coded it. Not being a php guy I haven't even looked into it. Probably wouldn't even know what I was looking at anyway. Sad

Most likely then the CSS style is overwriting whatever changes you are trying to make

hehe you lost me is it my theme thats stoping it from being large text or the css style?

frustrating since i cant seem to inlarge the text i decided to just make a gif and put it in now that doesnt seem to work either ive added the
$AllowableHTML = array("b"=>1,"img"=>2,"i"=>1,"u"=>1,"div"=>2,"a"=>2,"em"=>1,"br"=>1,"strong"=>1,"blockquote"=>1,"tt"=>1,"li"=>1,"ol"=>1,"ul"=>1); and still i can not get an img to display in the news ive opened the dir were the image is and ive tried to bring the image from another site hehe an help is appreciated

Post the HTML you are using, and the resulting HTML that is coming out from phpNuke when you view source

ok this is what i put in the news to submite it .

and then im hoping im finding the right one the title was test and this is after it in the source.
