I have had a report of when someone posts it tacks on posts from some other thread before the new post.
I did a test thread and this is what happened... my post is at the very bottom. The posts above it were added mysteriously...

In addition this only seems to happen with the start of a new thread...

Here is more detail... I started a thread called test2. I put test into the body and hit submit. When I was redirected back to the topic there was another entire different thread from a different foum appended onto the begining making my test post the last entry in the thread. The thread that was appended onto the beginning was removed from the forum that it was originally in all together. Very confusing. Please help.

When you upgraded did you also do a forum upgrade?

Don't know. There should be an upgrade script in the Forums folder.

If not how do I do the update? I ran it from my browser but I received a message read the INSTALL.txt before running. Not sure what I am looking for.

Looks like you're already at the upgrade level. Reinstall the Forums folder from the 7.2 distro.
