HTML in news and messages

I have 7.6 + patched 3.3 + nuke sentinel. After adding 3.3 and sentinel, I can no longer use q3plug and some other little items that require tags. Here is the one that I need most:

If someone can tell me exactly what I need to change, I would be very grateful. I have tried editing config.php and looked at nukesentinel.php but could not make it work.

I actually had already tried adding embed"=>2, to the allowablehtml line in config.php, but every time I do, it kills the site! (all links bring up a blank page after the edit)
Do I need to change something in the mainfile.php too?

are you sure you edited it right?
cause a blank page indicates an error...

in config.php set error report on / true
then try again,then you know what your doing wrong.

Doh! You are quite correct sir, the error was all mine.... no comma before the extra tag.
