Conversion from 7.8

Worker Joined: Oct 18, 2005 Posts: 127 Location: NYC

Both my sites are on 7.8 patched phpnuke. Some of my modules/addons were specifically for 7.8 and above. Will those modules/addons still work with RN 2.10? I was going to do a test site first.

Yes they probably will. RavenNuke was started on 7.6 .. there are not many significant changes to 7.8. In fact, RavenNuke includes 7.8's Advertising system so all newer themes should work with it.

But, definitely as you state, to do this locally first.

It just warms my heart when I hear people say that they test first on a local setup prior to touching their production site. It is now my Mantra to these boards and the community to start talking "Process". Many potentially site devastating issues can be avoided by doing this.
