i recently tried to upload a .php file onto my server using CoffeCup free FTP, well i ran into a problem. everytime i upload a .php file, it uploads as a blank document and doesn't even read as a file size. i disconnected, reconnected and tried again with the same result. i even restarted the program and i still had the same result.

Sometimes, it isn't obvious in your ftp client that you've run out of space on your server. Sometimes you think you have tons of space and you don't because your host has a screw loose. So, check for file space too.
