I hope that I am in the correct area for this query as I did not find much surrounding my question.

I am not sure how to go about the my headlines sections. Whenever I select a particular site in which i would like to see, I find that the images for this site backtracks to ME. Needless to say I am completely lost and all the documents i'm reading are not helping out much.

Could someone explain exactly how this works? What is it I am doing/not doing correctly?

Thanks so much!

PS: The site I am trying to add is Funenders. I get "headlines from fundenders" however images, etc all track back to my host.

TIAA!

In Your Account on your own site, you can add valid RSS/XML feeds there and they are displayed further down the page in the Your Account module.
I suspect you are not using a valid feed link.
What is the url you are trying to use?

That is the main url of the site, it is not a url for an RSS or XML feed.
The have a list of available feeds on this page
http://www.funender.com/phpBB2/rss.php

So as an example, if you wanted to use their Important Announcement feeds the url you would need to use is;
http://www.funender.com/phpBB2/rss_gen.php?f=1
