Admin Acess Denied Problems

I switched my site to a new host and everything seems to be in place. In the majority of my admin links I get "Access Denied" or "Illegal Operation".

I removed sentinel include from the mainfile.php (for testing)
Empty'd the .htaccess just to be sure.

Anyone please?

Let me tell what I gather so far...

I don't think its a database issue. Acess Denied happens on 90% of the admin links in menu.

I am thinking its file related. If anyone has a suggestion or wisdom beyond me. I am listening.

Make sure the cookie settings are correct (you may have to use phpMyAdmin to change them - look in _bbconfig) and make sure you clear all your browser cookies and cache (which is usually step 1).

I have decided to switch it back to the old host for the time being... On the new host start rebuilding the site with the new distro of raven's, I tried upgrade, but didn't fix the problem.

A slow rebuild will help me nail it down, and find the issue if any still persist.

Might be a DNS issue. When you switched hosts I presume you changed the domains name servers to point to the new hosts server?
If you didnt and were using a temporary path like http://IP.IP.IP.IP~username/ then the admin functions will not work.

Fixed, of all things it was chatserv compatibility. Wicked crazy that the old server didn't enforce such and the new does.

Still got me kinda lost. Anyway after a couple hundred or so file edits I will have this back up in full swing.
