New User E-miail not going out

Greetings,

I hope I am in the right place. I have a fresh copy of RavenNuke7.6v2.10.00. The install went smoothly enough, each step confirmed duriing the install process.

Now that the site is up and running New Users are not getting the registration E-mail. I can see a number for new users waiting in site info and I have tried using resend e-mail. It says e-mail sent. Still I cannot sign up new users in an empty site.

Suggestions? Did I misconfigure something? In preferenses I do not have an SMTP server set up.

have you tried your contact or feedback form ,if that sends you any mail ?

Feedback appears to send but never arrives. The reciving mailboxes have been tested and is working....

well would be best to check if your site can even send mail..

a simple way to check your servers ability to send mail can be done with the following script (previously posted by raven)
