New User Registration Errors

When people go to register to my site as a new user, they get the confirmation email just fine. When they click the hyperlink from the confirmation email, it gives them a 404 page not found error.

When they go in to try to re-register, it says the email adress is already in use.

How can I fix this error.

Is your URL to your site correct in your Admin Panel, Preferences?

ummm... Now it is. Jeese. The URL in the preferences was set at this... http://www.trottermessenger.com/html/index.php

How the heck did that happen??

It is fixed to the correct UREL now. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH.

By the Way... Is this URL that the registration uses to link the new user back to your site?

Yes, that URL is used in the registration confirmation email that gets sent to new users.
