News on Front Page

Can't get it to show only 5 News Articles on front page.

I set it up in the preferences to show only 5 but it is showing 7.
7 Articles is what I have on now since the install.
My older site did not have this problem.
I have checked the preferences 5 times now and it is set to only show 5.
Anymore then 5 is just to much info to load.
Is there enoughter way to set it to 5 only?

Did you check Your Account / Your Home to see how many articles you want to see there?

Wow been using Nuke for 5 years now never know I had that option.
That did the trix for me.

Why is't Nuke overiding that?
This will help me but I worry about all my visiters.

Edit:OK got it for none members it will only show 5 if I set it up in the Preferences.
Members default is 10 in the account.Have to make my Members aware of this.

I believe each individual user can decide how many articles they want to see with that personal option. The option in Preferences is for visitors I guess.
