Once in a while, even a jaded, old web fart like myself is surprised. Last night, I published a Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login!.

This morning, it's on Only registered users can see links on this board! Get registered or login! at Google with over 35,000 total results.

The reasons for this great performance:
- good content (I have to take credit for something!)
- a great CMS (RavenNuke TM)
- the nukeSEO sitemap (OK, I'll take credit for that, too)
- a little social marketing (to borrow a phrase I heard from montego)

It's hard to quantity the impact of social marketing on SEO, but it's definitely something I'll be watching.

I agree with everything you said, especially the "old web fart" part. Oh, wait a minute, a guess that makes me one too. Laughing
