I have written a News and Comments Email Notification hack to allow the email notification to Articles and Comments, similar to the Forum notification of replies. There are many configurable settings and with this hack I am introducing a new way of applying my hacks and mods. I keep trying to find a way to limit the amount of changes to the core modules and this will work in many cases. It only requires adding 1 line of code, in this case.Basically, and it's not rocket scientist work, :lol:, I will place my hacks in a folder and in each subfolder will be the actual code hack. Then, in whatever core code file needs editing, you will simply add 1 include() line. It may not work for all hacks, especially the more complicated ones, but I will use it wherever I possibly can!
