Access Denied

So i really don't know where to post this since this forum is to big, and it could fit under a couple topics.

My problem, I have Ravenphp 7.6 installed, I had 7.3 for a long time, but decided to upgraded and start fresh for this website. I need to get rid of the Mail Activation So i downloaded the No_mail_YA_hack76.zip, I installed the SQL, along with the files included on the zip, but now anytime i want to login with a regular username says access denied (whitescreen top left) When i try to regester i optain the same message. I read all these posts about a problem similar to this, even search google, but im very confused on how to fix it. IM sure theres just a line that needs to be corrected, but don't post a link for your reply, explain what i need to do, Im old, so i don't want to be waisting my life searching. Any input would be appericiated.

Although I am not familiar with this download (can you point me to the exact download link?), it sounds like the hack was not meant for the 3.1 nuke patchset. Is this multiple script files? If it is a module, did it include an index.php file in it? If so, post the first 100 lines of that script here so we can take a look at it.
