In Sentinel's administration in "Add Ip Address" it says :
Quote:
To add a subnet, use the format: 192.168.1.*

But if i ban the ip with the * , then in ripe whois ip link it says :
Quote:
ERROR:108: bad character in input
An invalid character was passed in the query. Allowed
characters are letters, numbers, and these: -_:+=.,@/?'.

It works ok only if instead of *, i put 0 .

How about that? We have to ban a subnet using * or 0 ?

Thanks Smile

The search will work in 2.0.0 finial. Whois system won't understand the * but Sentinel does and will work with either * or 0. In 2.0.0 finial the lookups will replace any *'s with 0's so those systems will understand it.
