I have not changed anything in the theme.php file of the theme used on my site lately. but suddenly the FOOTER of my site is there, in the right block colum .... and i don't have the slightest idea how this happened.

so i switched to a different simple theme, that comes with phpnuke and even there, the footer as well shows up in the right block colum. so the problem does not seem to be related to any specific theme from what i can see. i have not changed the mainfile or anything else, affecting general layout either ... so quite confused at the moment.

even more confusing, the FOOTER does show up as supposed, when loading pages where the right blocks are not displayed. in certain modules i have the right blocks switched off, and there the footer shows up as expected, at the foot of the page ... but with other modules when right blocks are turned on, the footer is there again in the right blocks colum and extends it in width.

please help ! thanks in advance!

Did you perhaps added some block or whatever ?
This type of error can happen if you add something with unclosed tags.
In that case it will mess up your design,so better check what you have done..

i de-activated one block, that is placed in the right column, and voila ...everything seems to be correct. i had done a lot of work in the code of this block ... but not the last days .... so i assume your assumption of some buggy code in this block could be correct. still ... it worked for a couple of days ...

thanks for your help hitwalker

thats ok..
just check for an unclosed tag, that could be a td,or tr,or table etc...if one is not closed it gets mixed up with the design and trashes it.
that should be easy for you to solve...
