Hi All,
I've a problem with admins who have the same nickname as username.
E.g. an admin who logs in with mell as admin name and has too the username mell.
When I install ravennuke then I have to fill in the god account and the admin accounts again. (I think raven nuke empty's the nuke_authors table during install).
The user can log in as admin after that but not as user any more.
How can I fix this?

Welcome!
When you install RavenNuke, it clears all tables, depending on how you install it. In the installation, did you request that a user with the same name be created? If not, did you try creating a user by registering or by using administration Edit Users function? |

Hi Kguske,
Thanks for the welcome.
Wat I actually did was downgrading from 7.9 to 7.6 with the downgrade script (I used downgrade78-76 for it).
After that I ran the setup.php from the install folder.
I created both a user and an admin with the same name.
But the user did already exist too, maybe that causes the problem?
Any way a new user can register and log on on the (test) board.
It runs further good except some standard problems like right collum of Helius theme not showing up.
I would like wat I have to do with the admins/users to get it run properly.

Hi All,
No answer yet on this one?
Would like to know it very much.
I've to tell aditionally that I first went from PHPNuke 6.7 to PHPNuke 7.9 and then downgraded to PHPNuke 7.6/ravennuke (the 2.02.00 distro).
Maybe this helps.
At phpNuke 7.5 there was a change in the way it works with Admins seems to me.

I assume you can log in as the God admin?
If that is the case, go to the nuke admin page and check to see if the 'normal' user account was created.
If it has, then just give it admin rights.
If it was not created, simply make a new account and give it admin rights - as kguske told you in his post, that can be done through the Edit User function.
The reason for the right column, or more precisely, the right blocks not showing with your theme has been answered many times before. Look in the patch files folder that come with Raven Nuke. |

Hi Guardian,
Ok, I've seen it, and I've also seen wat goes wrong.
I need to create a God account with both the God-name and the normal user name names different from existing users.
Then everything works, and then I can log into it with my existing user name.
I can also promote my existing username to admin then.
Regardint right button, that wasn't a question, I was talking about standard problem, I knew already about the "INDEX" variable.
Thanks for the hint that gave me the solution on this.
