I've been reading up on HTTP protocol in a book called HTTP Essentials, written by Stephen Thomas (cofounder and Chief Technical Officer for TransNexus, a leading provider of Internet e-commerce solutions) and published by Wiley Computer Publishing. With chunked transfer encoding, the server is supposed to divide the message body into one or more chunks and then sends these chunks on right after the other, thereby the web client can start receiving and displaying them sooner. I have modifed this site to use this encoding and would like some feedback as to whether or not it seems to be loading faster for you. Please navigate around the site and vote your results in the poll at Content-Transfer-Encoding.
