Due to the mental midgets out there, I have been forced to put restrictions on who does what here. From now on, all comments are moderated, which means I had to approve them before they get posted. Also, only registered users can now post messages. Sorry.

How many of you miss the Member's List module from v6.0? Raise your hands! Me too :). So, I have modified the v6.0 Members List module to work with v6.5 and forward. Get it from the Downloads Section.

Update 5/22/2003: The Nuke version 5.1.0 is now on line and available for testing!

I will be releasing RC0 soon for the NON-NUKE version. The NUKE version will be released soon after. I normally do a closed beta but I am going to make this one public. Here is a list, so far, of the changes/enhancements. All of these changes are presently loaded to the standard public version of KISGB here.

• Added logic to allow quoting of another message when posting a new message. The Admin will be able to turn it off (of course!)
• Added code to always set error_reporting to E_ALL&~E_WARNING. Modified several scripts to make sure that the config.php include is the first statement. That way the error_reporting setting will always be in effect.
• Added a new analyzer utility called syschk.php. This script will analyze your KISGB installation and determine if there are any problems with the configuration of KISGB and PHP. This utility should not be left installed! To do so will open your system to hacking attempts!!
• The setting $use_footer was not functioning correctly. Keep in mind that you are not allowed to remove the footer unless prior permission has been received from ME!!! It is a requirement of the license.
• Version 4.3.2RC of PHP was causing the updategb.php module to mess up the guestbook. Very ugly! I have incorporated the fix. the problem is that the developers changed the window's code.
• Added BBCODE capability.
• Added functionality to allow moderating of the entries prior to posting them.

Finally! A very user friendly (don't you just love that phrase?) way to manage the temp_user file in Nuke! Resend an activation email! Delete one that is awaiting activation! Come and get it! I will be enhancing it in a week or so, after the critics have their say :LOL!

I'd really appreciate some feedback on the modules/blocks/hacks that I've been providing. Do you want more? If so, what? Are they of the quality that you need?

[Updated 5/19 09:00 hours] - UPDATED RELEASE Added a Modify option to allow the modification of most items on the user_temp redord.

[Updated 5/18 18:30 hours] - UPDATED RELEASE Fixed password display on the email to be the unencoded password and also to regenerate a new password. Also turned the confirmation link into a hyperlink to all the Admin to just activate the user rather than resending the email.

[Updated 5/9 17:40 hours] I added the user submitted email to the display to show what email the activation request was sent under. Now we will know the real reason for all of these 'failures' :) If you d/l before this, just download again and replace the index.php file.
