Contest - Winner receives 6 months FREE hosting! More about

There is so much talent in this Community when it comes to graphics and I am calling out to you! I need to have a graphic created to represent RavenNuke™.

One idea I envision is something like a shield as the base graphic. Then within the shield a Raven with its wings enveloping the phpnuke image of the explosion. The Raven's enveloping wings will represent how RavenNuke™ contains and protects nuke users. Actually, now that I think of it, it would be something along the line of the FireFox Web Browser image except a Raven with wings instead of a fox if you get my drift.

Now that's from a non graphic's minded person! I said this would be a contest. Please post your ideas here. Please, nothing of adult/questionable content. After we have all the submissions (don't let me down now, I'm being optimistic) and depending on how many submissions we have, we will select the favorite 2 or 3 and have a runoff selection. Or I may just mandate my favorite :ROTFL:.

In any event the winner will receive 6 month's hosting for free, up to and including the Package 3/1 - Price: $13.95/month from Raven Web Hosting. That's about an $84 value. Alternate prizes are being offered - see the forum post! Spread the word to everyone you know who might be interested!

The contest is alive and underway! See Contest - Winner receives 6 months FREE hosting!

Microsoft and Nokia announced support for the jQuery JavaScript library. jQuery will be included in future versions of VisualStudio - unmodified - and the jQuery development tool will retain control of development. Read More...

Raven: Well, it remains t be seen as to whether M$ will follow through. My most favorite operating system, ever, was O/S2. It did and would have continued to envelop window$ and when M$ saw what was happening they suddenly decided that the Big Blue alliance wasn't such a good idea.

It is worthy of mentioning that RavenNuke™ v2.3 is now using jQuery and we have already adopted jQuery as a standard in v2.4, along with PHP5.x. At least we saw the light before M$

MySpace to support OpenID (sort of)... is RavenNuke next? More about

kguske writes:
MySpace announced support for the OpenID identify platform today, joining AOL, Blogger, LiveJournal, Plaxo, WordPress and Yahoo. However, the company said it only plans to allow OpenIDs created via MySpace to access the service, and currently has no firm plans to allow users to login to the service with OpenIDs from other sources, though this could happen. Some see this one-sided acceptance as a land grab.

MySpace, along with eBay and Yahoo, is also participating in the Data Availability program, and Jim Benedetto, MySpace VP Technology, sees the two efforts (Data Availability and OpenID) merging with MySpace becoming a hub of identity.

There has been some discussion about RavenNukeā„¢ support for accepting OpenID authentication. Would this benefit your site?
